URDU MIDDLE SCHOOL TEHAI MADARIPUR
Have I attended Urdu Middle School Tehai Madaripur ever; I do not remember. However, pahada which is still fresh in mind must have been memorized by at this school when I must have been barely 4-5 years of age as I have memoirs of my childhood only after 6-7 years of age.
Urdu Middle High School is only 10 meters away from the place where the houses of our ancestor three brothers – late Mohd Shafi, Mohd Siddique and Mohd Imamuddin start. This government educational institution is fulfilling primary and middle educational needs of the girls and boys from the village for a long time. Whenever I was at home, the clear voice of Master Salam Sahab I would hear teaching in the school. He has retired after serving this school for a long time. One of Islamic social tradition he has always maintained is “Assalamu Alaikum” to everyone who would come to his attention. He has been very punctual in his duties never skipping his teaching classes, just like my uncle late Master Aafaq Sahab who was never seen to be absent from any school where he taught.
Many teachers from the village and other localities have rendered their services Urdu Middle School Tehai Madaripur. One of them is Master Shamim Sahab son of late Abul Kalam Sahab (I may be mistaken in remember his exact name), who is teaching in the school as the Head Master and resolving the disputes and controversies of the village folk whenever he is invited for this purpose. His late father had been a fearless truth seeker not fearing anyone while dealing with what is right and wrong and the same is true with Janab Shamim Sahab, which I knew while interacting with him over the phone for our family matters regarding the ancestral land.
I have been to a lot of beautiful places and cities. However, my village Tehai Madaripur, having Urdu Middle High School, madrasa, mosques, eidgah, educators, businessmen, Islamic Scholars and greenery and anything else a rural landscape has seems t be more beautiful to me than any other lovely place on the globe where I want to maintain a seat of learning guiding the students to achieve their targets in life.
