There are a number of Islamic Institutions in the region called Mewat. Mewat is known for its glorious past, vibrant present and promising future because it falls within the radius of the heart of Bharat, NCR. The majority of its inhabitants follow Islam and Tablighi Jamat thrives here.
Jamia Arabia Islamia Moinul Islam, Nuh: This Islamic Seminary is one of the old and prestigious Islamic seminaries in Mewat. This educational establishment was founded by the founder of Tablighi Jamat, Hazrat Maulana Ilyas Kandhlavi. All classes of Dars-e-Nizami are taught here despite harsh circumstances being faced by this institution. Currently five hundred students are studying in Jamia Arabia Islamia Moinul Islam, Nuh. Mufti Zahid Husain Qasmi is Shaikhul Hadith and Headmaster in this madrasa.
Madrasa Ashraful Uloom Daudpur, Alwar: This Islamic seminary is regarded one of the prestigious Islamic institutions in the region of Mewat. This madrasa was established by the freedom fighter, Maulana Mohammad Ibrahim Alwari and Mufti Jamaluddin Qasmi has played an important role in its revival and development. Teaching Sahih Bukhari Sharif started in Ashraful Uloom Daudpur, Alwar in 1999, which continues till date. About 250 students study here. The rector of the madrasa is Maulana Mohammad Amjad whereas Maulana Mohammad Sharaft Qasmi is gracing the position of Shaikhul Hadith.
Jamia Islamia Darul Uloom Mohammadia Melkherla, District Deeg Rajasthan. This Madrasa also is famous for its educational services in the region. This was established by the famous Islamic preacher Miyanji Moosa Ghaserwi’s grandson, Maulana Mohammad Qasim Qasmi. All classes of Dars-e-Nizami are taught here. Daur-e-Hadith was commenced in 2011. The rector and Shaikhul Hadith of the madrasa is Maulana Mohammad Rashid Qasmi.
Madrasa Ubai Ibne Kaab, Ghasera. This Islamic seminary is situated in the famous village of Mewat, Ghasera located on the highway. This was established in 1990 by Hazrat Maulana Shabbir Mohammad Ameeni. Daur-e-Hadith has started in this very year. About 500 students are studying in this madrasa. Maulana Mohammad Hamza is Shaikhul Hadith in this Islamic institution.
