Darul Uloom Warsia is s prestigious Islamic seminary located in a posh area of the capital of Uttar Pradesh in Gomti Nagar, Vishal Khand – 4. Here, I started the second phase of my life assuming the obligation of a teacher in Arabic Language and Literature after graduating from Darul Uloom Nadwatul Ulema, the most famous Islamic University of the subcontinent in reference to the language of the most modern religion, Islam located on the bank of the river Gomti beside the University of Lucknow, which became my alma matter for English Language and Literature and Economics later on. I approached the rector of Darul Uloom Warsia, Qari Abul Hasan Warsi for being a member of teaching staff in the institution of his dream. I consultation of Maulana Iqbal, next to him in administration hierarchy, he appointed me as an Ustad of Arabi Adab.
The founder of Darul Uloom Warsia, Qari Abul Hasan Qadri had visionary and appeasing personality having high ambitions for the educational institution he established in the prime location of the capital of the largest State of India in terms of population, though when he acquired the tracks lands, the area was a remote region in the suburbs of Lucknow, called Ujriyaon.
Darul Uloom Warsia has all typical departments of an Islamic seminary in addition to schools for boys and girls from standard first to ten and a Girls Enter College. A beautiful imposing mosque named Raza Jame Masjid, guest house, student hostels, class rooms, play ground and vast open spaces are hall marks of this Madrasa associated to Barelvi denomination of Islam in the subcontinent.
During my tenure 2001-2003 here, Maulana Siraj Sb, Maulana Sajid Misbahi, Maulana Khatibur Rehman and others were among teaching staff in Alia and Ulya Sections. A number of teachers were appointed in Hifz Department. Qari Usman Sb was my close friend because he hailed from home district Muzaffarpur, Bihar. Now, Darul Uloom Warsia is an aided Madrasa of UP, whose staff are engaged free from financial constrains in educating the assets of the nation. I left this institution in the year 2003, but many sweet memories of mine are associated to this place. The books I taught here include Diwan-e-Mutanabbi, Sharah Jami, Al-Madihun Nabvi amongst others.
