Muzaffarpur Metro is going to be a reality and this a blessing for Tirhutiya folk and a delightful mode of transport for the persons willing to enjoy life every bit and who have been using the rapid transit system of the heart of the nation, Delhi that has entered the body of the national capital like the chemical substances in the blood stream traveling from and to every apartment and compartment of the human body.
Named after a Muslim Revenue Officer, Muzaffar Khan, Muzaffarpur is a smart city and has proved its smartness in having Bihar University with jurisdiction over dozens of colleges like L.S. College, a distinguished seat of learning, the reflection of any college of the Oxford University of British Empire, Junction Railway station that hundreds of trains pass every day, Medical College and Hospital catering the poor, Muzaffar Institute of Technology near Bairiya Bus Terminus offering courses in all major disciplines of technology, Law Colleges and a number of other secular educational institutions as well Islamic seminaries and Hindu Dharma Pathshala and Dharamshala, a river to wash its feet bear the burden of filth human race excrete, bustling malls and markets and busy eateries and hotels and others.
There would two corridors of Muzaffarpur Metro. The second corridor would start from the SKMCH and terminate at Muzaffarpur Junction passing Shahbazpur, Zeromile, Sheikhpur, Akhadaghat, Company Bagh covering 7.40 km distance and the first corridor Harpur Bakhri to Ramdayalu Nagar shall cross (2) Sipahpur, (3) Ahiyapur, (4) Zeromile, (5) Chakghazi, (6) Dadar Chowk, (7) Bairiya Bus Stand, (8) Chandni Chowk, (9) Bishundattpur, (10) Bhagwanpur Chowk (11) Gobarsahi, and Khabra. The length of this corridor is 13.85 km.
The metro lime of Muzaffarpur Metro would be elevated, length of the station being 60 meters and width 22.5 meters. This mega project would cost Rs. 5359 crore rupees.
Now, the residents of the smart city and habitants of Tirhut division including my family members at Dharampur Narayan urf Tehai and Mauna Sharif near Walipur may have smooth ride to the prime locations of Muzaffarpur satisfying daily needs and enjoying life as per law and morality.
