Rang Birangi Dunay is a wonderful creation of the creator, which is impossible to be seen without human eye, an organ that has inspired a number of inventions by the scientists and for this very reason the tenth chapter of the science textbook for the class 10 prepared by NCERT is named Human Eye and the Colorful World – “Rang Birangi Dunya”.
How many colors are there, seven – Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo and Violet -, absolutely not, there are millions of colors in this Rang Birangi Dunya as per the scientists. Fifty thousand shades of blue, 20,000 shades of green and 10 thousand shades of red and so on. We see the rainbow in the sky, valley of flowers, setting sun, rising moon, twinkling of stars, grains of numerous colors, fishes of different patterns and fashionable hairs of countless designs of animal kingdom that are amazing and wonderful.
We cannot experience this Rang Birangi Dunya without our eyes implanted by the God in upper part of our body. When we close our Darya-e-Noor, as some poets have referred to the human eye, the colorful world appears to be dark. Although there are other sense organs like tongue, ear and nose but as regards the eyes, they are different and one of the most valuable organs that must be taken care of.
The human may be compared analogously to the artificial camera. The aankh by which we enjoy and satisfy the life basics is composed of many parts such as Cornea, Vitreous humor, Optic nerve, Retina, Pupil, Aqueous humor, Crystalline lens and others.
We see a large number of boys, girls and elders putting on spectacles to observe this Rang Birangi Dunya because they suffer some eye ailments like Myopia and Hypermetropia. Myopia is also known as nearsightedness. A person with myopia can see nearby objects clearly but cannot see distant object distinctively, whereas a person with the defect of Hypermetropia can see distant objects clearly but he cannot see nearby objects distinctively.
