Syed Hasan Badayuni is revelry addressed as Hazrat Sultanul Aarifeen Syed Hasan Sheikh Shahi. His name was Syed Hasan and epithet Sheikh Shahi Raushan Zameer Mue Taab. He was a Husaini Syed. His father migrated from Yemen to Badayun during the reign of Sultan Shamsuddin Iltutmish. Some historians say he had three brothers and others are of the opinion that he had four brothers. However, both Sheikh Mohd Usman and Badruddin Shah Vilayat are his younger brothers. Hazrat Sultanul Aarifeen is disciple and successor of Hazrat Qazi Hamiduddin Nagori and he is the disciple and successor of Hazrat Shahabuddin Umar Suharwardi. Sheikh Shahi is his epithet and he is called Rasan Taab because he would make the ropes of hairs and his younger brother’s epithet was Mue Taab. He had acquired the external sciences from Haji Jamal Multan and he gained the discipline of mysticism from Hazrat Qazi Hamiduddin Nagori.
Hazrat Sheikh Muhaddith Dehlavi writes in Akhbarul Akhyar that there are three tombs where the prayers are fulfilled. When a person makes prayer with sincere devotion, the Almighty Allah does not reject his requests.
